Tulsa is our passion and our home, and we feel a responsibility to offer our expertise and resources to ultimately better the community around us. That’s why we’re delighted to partner with the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and foodservice providers all across the city for Tulsa Restaurant Week. Hosted by TulsaPeople, the 14th Annual Restaurant Week is set for Sept. 4-13, 2020. And while dining out might look a little different this year, our enthusiasm for this great event hasn’t waned.
The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma works each day to feed the hungry and engage our community in the fight against hunger. Working together with 350 Partner Agencies, Community Food Bank distributes more than 25 million pounds of food each year to eastern Oklahoma’s 24 counties.
Restaurant Week offers a unique look at dozens of the area’s most well-known restaurants to raise money for the Community Food Bank. Each location will offer prix fixe menus for brunch, lunch or dinner, with a portion of each sale going directly to the foodbank. And once again, the George Kaiser Family Foundation has graciously agreed to match up to $25,000.
For a current list of participating restaurants, visit Tulsa Restaurant Week’s Facebook page. We feel it’s our duty as Tulsans to support our community through outstanding outreach efforts like Tulsa Restaurant Week and encourage you to join us as we celebrate Tulsa’s culinary excellence for this great cause!
